Jim Good job. Was the 55 a driver or a trailer car. You are my : HERO" "You walk the walk and talk the talk". I think that's the way it goes.

    Thanks!

the 55 was trailered in, but completed the drive required for the event. It's a fresh build, although the fellow has been racing a long time, and the motor is out of his other race car. I think they had less than 50 miles on the car, and I could smell fresh paint. It's a beautiful car...and it goes really good, no blower! he's planning to put a tunnel ram on it to fill the scoop, but he wanted to make sure the car is sorted out before messing with the motor.

  8. 55 looks more 70s Street Freak to me. Good job once again Jim!

    Thanks!

yeah, but compared to the 67 Chevelle Street Freak, it looks more like a Gasser. With so few "old style" cars doing stuff like this, we take what we can get

790 miles and 10.30s is a hell of an accomplishment particularly in a hard line period car. WAY harder than it looks.

    You are the man. -Abone.
