50 chevy truck steering box?

    my dad just dragged a 50? cheby truck home. and might fix it up????? if he does. he wants to keep the straight axle, but wants to have power steering? is there a easy swap of some power box??? what do you guys know? we are not sure its a 50? no paper work. and neather of us are up on the old cheby trucks!

    Go to www.americanclassic.com/ to id the truck, run the vin on their site.

    http://www.classicperform.com/ has a kit to convert to a 73 -87 chevy c10 power box.

    http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/ has a lot of info and owners of that design.

    CCP sells a kit that uses a toyota power box. My bud did it on his. Looks great!
