It's funny that you mentioned that though Norb,because I distinctly remember putting two bolts in the starter last time.Only had one in it when I pulled the starter off.lol!

Actually,those 6200rpm leaves were loosening damn near everything but the bumper bolts!lol!

Falls Off Regularly Dude!

 

Jay had same trouble, we were at Great Lakes Drag, ( Hunnert Car Heads up ) two years ago and one starter bolt was gone and the other so loose the starter didn't engage anymore.

Heard that this happens on 302 Ford blocks with lots of h.p.
But I guess that it is really rare. l.o.l.

 

It's rare norb because high powered fords are very uncommon lmao

 

...Honda Civics with straight axles!!!!....mite not be all that bad....too new for the Meltdown tho...

 

Though I kinda like the style of your sketch I think ya need to find another name for it though cause the lil honker is already one really super Bitchin comp coupe

Any of you going to Eddyville Iowa this weekend?

 

I love that car but personally I have never seen it make a pass. I have seen it start and run and even idle down the dragstrip in MOKAN once. Maybe one of these days I will be in the right place at the right time.

 

I have and it is spectacular it was at the hamb drags several years back it was the last pass of the day after he had worked on it all day but man was it worth it not only was it a real good pass there was lots of tire smoke most of the way down in my opinion it was a perfect ending to a great day of racing

My family and I are getting excited. My Anglia is as ready as I can get it. Trans is acting a bit sluggish, I've checked it over, and did a filter, and drain. Hopefully it will hold together for a few passes!! Either way we are looking forward to the weekend! !!
