    Tried silver leaf the other day for the first time.

    Tried this next, first time I let the size dry to long and the leaf wouldn't stick. Man was I pissed! This is second try. Don't really know what I'm doing.

    Pay close attention to the intersections of your lines. To me lines that over run or don't quite make it to the tips are the quickest tell of a quality job or not.
    Leaf is a whole other animal, depending on what size you use and what temperature, air flow, humidity etc your times will vary. Getting it late is better than early.
