I've been away for awhile, but the boss's latest project is a 1930 Marmon big 8 or model 79 and he is looking for parts, or leads even. We are aware of the Marmon club and have been in touch with the surviving members. Can anyone help? Thanks

Pic as requested...(I'm wondering if I'm in the area for this car as this car is going right back to stock)

You are in the right area. We can all learn something from this.

Marmon was in the Cadillac or Packard class but more exclusive. They were famous for their high performance OHV six cylinder cars, that used a lot of aluminum in engine, chassis and body. Then they came out with the first low priced straight eight, the Marmon Roosevelt. The Big Eight was a step up, and the replacement for the OHV six. A real luxury car unfortunately killed by the depression, and now forgotten.
