I was going to let you guys know that we eat at a little hole in the wall local place for breakfast every morning. It is called the 5th street diner good food reasonable price.

 

Enloe, where is the diner located? We're staying just off exit 22 and I 65.

We have been going there since the first reunion. We asked a girl that was working the gate at the campground where the locals eat. She sent us there and we have been going there ever since.

 

That sounds good Enloe! We have been eating up the road a little ways at Miss Betty's, in Smiths Grove, KY 42171 great breakfast and the dinners are also good just a short drive up the Parkway. I like to get away from the hustle and bustle for a nice little ride sometimes. Joe

 

there is no hustle and bustle at the 5th street diner
but the good make a good skillet breakfast and also a good omlette

 

Now you've gone and spoiled the secret, the joint will be crowded and we won't be able to find a seat!

I will be coming with a group of 3 other cars. Our plan is to visit the Corvette Museum on Wed. and attend the HRR on Thursday. Then Friday head out to Bristol for the NHRA "Thunder Valley " Nationals. It will be an great weekend of old vs. new drag racing!

We will be staying at the Holiday Inn which I think is the host hotel for the HRR??

 

You have any idea what time they open/close?

 

Received my tickets in the mail today. Hope the weather is better than last year! Will try to hook up with you guys for breakfast one morning. What time do you go, hopefully early before the traffic gets bad.
