Upcoming event in Tucson, May 6 and 7. Friday night meet and greet, Saturday racing. I plan to show up Friday in my old pickup that I used to race 35 years ago, and Saturday in my AWB Chevy II.

A few pics from the Meet n Greet tonight. Several cars were playing nitro, sounded and smelled great

it got cold, so I put on my Tucson Dragway 1981 C Trophy Points Champion jacket. a few of the older folks got a kick out of it

Must've been a good time. Woke up yesterday thinking about Nitro and started heading south but had a front tire out of balance and cut it short. Went to the Coolidge car cruise instead where a few of my friends were. Ol Whine Maker looks great in paint.

They got the Whine fired up, sounds good on pop!

After making a couple passes, I left early for a deal in Sierra Vista...but a few more pics...

Yea, heard the Whine Maker recreation fire up once, maybe it's those extra long tubes but it sounded pretty violent. Looks like Jerry showed up and I spot D.SCOTT's Fordor in the background. Thanks for the pics.

Nice looking 6 hole engine too. Have fun Jim.
btw: TV Tommy was in that vintage hot rod movie that was on just the other night.
