Kit Bash keeps raising the bar. I know I'm pushed to be better every time I see new projects.

    Great work

  11. ITS Sunday, and so soon again, I hope to see some of your cool models today. I've been lazy and haven't taken any photos this week. Maybe I'll have some time after Church today. I just wanted to get this started. Here's a couple I had on file, 036.jpg 037.jpg that I don't think I have posted yet.

Tonight was the Milwaukee NNL 24.

There were 680 entries. They are shooting for 1,000 next year on the 25th anniversary of the event.

The theme was the 100th Indy 500 race.

The Al Kulwicki award for best stock car went to the #2 Norm Nelson Plymouth.

Best paint went to the yellow Frantic Ford Mustang, I believe.

Best club display went to Plastic Heads for Mel's Diner.

Best Indy car went to a group of 1/43 scale Indy cars.

People's Choice went to the 962 C Porsche. The owner came all the way from Puerto Rico for the contest. It was also 1/43 scale

My pics can be seen here.

It was Cadillac Sunday at my bunker today. Working on four of the Monogram '59 Eldorado Seville's currently. First one is painted in '59 Oldsmobile "Burgundy Mist"/'59 Buick "Lido Lavender". Clearcoat on the lower body, matt varnish on the roof to match the vinyl-roof texture.
The other two are actual '59 Cadillac "Hampton Green" and "Persian Sand". All automotive acrylic lacquer base-/clearcoat -System airbrushed by Yours Truly. The fourth one in white primer will be blue eventually. 20150111_190012.jpg 20160410_203146.jpg 20160410_220851.jpg 20160410_193823.jpg

  21. I like your caddy's, the last picture makes me think of the Cadillac Ranch in Texas, ha. ha. They are very nice, and great paint. The door reflectors are so cool. keep us posted when they are finished. Ron...

  22. There is a new thread today about the price of models. I snapped a couple pictures of the slot car track for it. So if you seen them, excuse these. I though I would post them here too. It is part of a Junkyard, that my grandson and I built for the layout. I hope there will be some more models posted here this evening. and THANKS Ron... 007.jpg 010.jpg 008.jpg

Cool stuff everyone! Love the Cadillac factory. That Merc is looking might fine, James.
This build of mine started fast and stalled a bit lately, but managed to source some headlights and taillights.
