I have been looking for the tube grill for my 58 for along time. I put an add on the wanted section here on the Hamb and Tada, A fellow associated with the famous Rocco& Cheaters speed shop sent me an email that they had one. The power of the Hamb sometimes is just unbelievable. When I got it I was amazed that it was in the original Cal Custom box and was brand new and also included was 2 Rocco & Cheaters water slide decals. Thanks Brad tube grill in 58 002.JPG

Really changes the look over stock, eh? In a good way. Tube grilles were at their peak when I was a kid building models. JC Whitney and others, always had a huge section to drool over :)

Neat car! My uncle bought a new Azsure blue 58 Custom 300 2 door that my cousin got handed down to him in 65. It had a 292 T-Bird Special, 3 on the tree and tall rear end gears. That sucker would do 90 in second! We removed the grille bar, ran Lancers and skirts and dual pacemakers. Too bad the Ohio road salt got to it, by 67 it got traded in on a 65 Galaxie.

I cant remember if it was07 08 but somewhere in they I was at the Hamb drags and Rocco & Cheaters showed up with a trailer full of goodies. In the stuff was a nos 58 ford tube grill that I lusted over but didn't have enough money in my pocket to buy it. I have thought about letting that grill get away all these years. And then I posted on the wanted section here on the Hamb and you guys can figure out the rest. Small world isn't it.

Save the box and wrapping papers. The are a great story. I have purchased parts from the Sanafilippos for over a half a century. A few years back I bought some parts wrapped in 1954 news papers. the son in law is taking care of things now. he is a good guy. Their is still a lot of good shit at the store.

Looks good. I remember when JC Whitney sold them. Aside from the Sears wish book, the JC Whitney catalog was my favorite. If I only had the sense to buy some of those tube grills as well as lot of other stuff they sold, if only:(

There's no zip code on the label to Rocco and Cheaters. Must be real.
