Hi. We qualified for the elimination rounds, but lost in the quarter finals, to the folks that ended up winning the finals. We loaded up and I hit the road. I'm eating dinner in new Jersey. A few miles back on the freeway there was a wreck about a hundred yards in front of me. Fun.

 

Nerds is the name of our team. Nifty Engineering Robotics Design Squad.

 

That is a nice vehicle -have a safe drive home

 

Quarter finals ain't bad! It's a great experience for the kids and they should be proud. My son was on Team 501 Power Knights back 14 years ago. Have a safe ride home!

nice job. your competition reminds me of my sons auto events. the kids come away with so much. the lessons learned are priceless. they are a lucky group to have you as mentor. safe travels on the way back home.

 

Great journey. Too bad a couple of the kids didn't tag along on the Suburban ride. Can't see the real USA from 30,000 feet. Safe travels.

Talking a more northern route home. Indianapolis, St Louis, Tulsa etc.



The aerodynamics of an old truck are interesting. The windshield stops airflow about halfway back on the hood.

 

Jim if you are taking I 44 from St. Louis to Tulsa it's a nice chunk of route 66. Good route choice!

Spent the night with friends in Warsaw MO. Heading home on US 54.
