Thought I would post a few pictures of my project. BeBops Glassworks body on P&J frame purchased through Honest Charley Speed Shop. Can only say good things about Mike Goodman and the help he has provided. Engine is 315 Dodge Hemi, 700R4 trans with 3:89 9 inch rear, 7:50 rear 5:50 front Excelsior radials from Coker. Alliance membership saved me big time at Honest Charley and Coker. Steering column, drop, wheel, and turn signal from Limeworks. Seat frame from Metaltwister. Both are Alliance vendors. Upholstery will be done by Hamber Beachbum Jim. Color is 40' Ford Yosemite Green. Frame and most of suspension is powder coated Black.
Another beautiful Deuce roadster with a Hemi. *yawn*. It's a nice looking car-I really like the dark green and the engine. Is it going to sit that high, or are you going to lower the rear?
That is final ride height. I used a stock '32 heavy axle, no drop, with buggy sprung rear. Tire rake only.
Thanks for all the kind words! I'm finishing up the wiring, then on to final assembly. I'll post more pictures when radiator, lights, interior etc. are done.
Here are latest pictures. Wiring is mostly done. Finished up the front: radiator, shroud, trans. cooler, grille and lights. Seat covered by Hamber Beach Bum Jim. Another spectacular job by Jim. Body color and plaid interior is for my Irish Bride of 43 years. Need to finish shifter, throttle and kick down, and fuel lines to pump and should be ready to fire up.
Here is the finished interior. Beautiful job by Beach Bum Jim. Car is running. Had to chase down a vacuum leak but now sounds pretty good.
