I have this New Britain # 476 NH , 3/4" Drive Ball joint socket. It is about 1 3/4" inside measure (flat to flat).Anyone Know what car it is used for? It appears too small for the Mopars of the 60's & 70's Thanks All!

Not sure, but I used to work at New Britain General Hospital.

It sure sounds like the aforementioned Mopar ball joint.

According to my research, that socket would be 1-59/64", which is decimal 1.921875"

It's too small for the Cadillacs with a screw in lower ball joint. For some reason I never worked on a Corvair front end so I'm not sure what they have.
There were/are a couple of them on Ebay but no more info than what you already have.

Corvairs did not use threaded ball joints. The uppers were rivited from the factory and the lowers pressed in.
