Thanks Brand Apart! A/C is certainly not needed here in the flat country. No power steering either. I've set the engine back and in combination with the aluminium heads and close ratio rack, steering is not a problem.

    Have a great 2016!

So close Eric, looking straight and smooth - any idea as to when they plan on spraying the black paint?

Installed the brackets/running boards today. Final adjustments are still required in order to line them up perfectly with the body and fenders.

Progress has been slow last week.......fenders are now finally 100% correct in position.....still waiting on the hood hinges. Let's hope the next update will show a little more progress! Even my patience is slowly running out.

Things are going a little slow at the moment Scott. Unfortunately you can't rush certain things. (apparently)

Coming up on 6 years since you started this project. Did you ever think it might take this long? I gotta give you props on patience. I'd have said a bad word or 10 by now.

To be honest, I expected it to take a little shorter........unfortunately due to circumstances it has taken longer. But I remain positive without saying too many bad words. You can't rush certain things.

On the bright side, I did manage to install the bench seat frames. I had to drill all the holes of the frames again, as they were covered in powder coat. Luckily I have long arms so I could reach under the car with a spanner, while tightening the bolts from the top.

It has been a while since we heard from Eric, I'm sure we will hear from him soon... Makes you wonder why this shop is taking so long to finally shoot some gloss black on his car, with the body being so close to perfect. We'll know soon enough!

  30. I'm sure he wants closer too.
