This a customers Model A project. Keeping it un-chopped with transverse original style lowered suspension. Using as much of the original car as possible. Filled roof with 3/4 beads. Original grille shell and hood top w/no sides. And 3x2 on a SB with finned covers and cleaners. 1930 Coupe Arrived at the shop in this state. Braced up body Pulled from frame Body jig made from mounting points off frame Hoisting body up Setting on jig Bolting down Paint stripped Axles removed Stripping rest of frame Checking and straighten Fabbing fixtures Install Speedway spring behind crossmember JW Rod front front crossmember, Dagel's Super X crossmember and Wolfe fab boxing plates Replace rear half sub rails Rear quarter patches Front cowl patches. Left patch too short. Fabbed this to make bead in supplemental cowl patch Made up a supplemental cowl patch Got the infamous Howell corner patch in.
