Sad A real loss to the Hot Rod community. Condolences to his family.

 

A very big loss to the Hot Rod community, his contribution to our hobby make his name a household word. My condolences to the family.

 

Such sad news. Met Gary years ago at Rhinebeck New York. Prayers for his family

 

Sad news ..... I had the pleasure of meeting Gary way back in '74 I believe , at the Canadian street rod Nats in Winnipeg and many other times at Goodguys events throughout the years. He was always what the name implied a GOOD GUY ! Condolences to the family .

 

R.I.P. , best wishes and condolances for the family.

 

Sorry to hear this. He did a lot for the hobby.

Very Shocking. Gary put the GOOD in GOODGUYS Street Rod Assn. R.I.P. Gary

 

One of the true "good guys". He visited my place, rode in my 53 F100, and carried on like he was impressed, like he had nothing better himself. He was a true car guy and a true gentleman. He will be seriously missed.

 

Sad Sad day in the hot rodding world. I just talked to Gary and Marlyn at the show in Puyallup. He always had time for everyone..... God Speed Gary... You will be greatly missed......

 

I was able to write a monthly column for GoodGuy's Gazette for over 10 years because of Gary (and Jim Aust)...Gary asked me several times if all my stories were "true"...he loved them. Sad to hear this today, he was one of the real "Good" Guy's...RIP. Condolences to Marilyn and the rest of his family...
