In between rainy days the temps have been 55+ degrees. We are pulling the engine&trans at present and hope to have the coupe ready by spring Autofair @ Charlotte,NC. Since I can't ride it is nice to work in the garage with the door open. Happy New Year everyone..........................

  2. Just had to get the truck out for a run. From northern Md, into Pa. Only got two thumbs up, one from a guy in his '55 Ford and the other from one of those black cutout cowboys leaning against a garage. Don't think the engine got over 2k rpm, that kind of a country road run.

Finally got out today for a couple hours. It was nice to finally get the flat spots out of those tires.

Does Ohio count as 'East Coast'? 65° and decent sunshine here!!! UPS guy delivered a Posie lowering spring on the 23rd and was wearing shorts, said it was the first time in his 26 years that he was able to. Shined up the Blue Goose and delivered presents Christmas Eve and today. Merry Christmas everyone.

  12. Did some tuning on the coupe monday and took her out for several test hits. Been a while that I could do that right before the holidays. WIN_20150412_144238.JPG

  13. Hit 60° up here in New Hampshire what a beautiful day! Took the grandkids (and everyone else at the house) for a ride. My two year old grandson went for three rides and probably the last one of the year. Cams Ride.jpg Cams Ride 2.jpg

My wife and I took a cruise in the "Woodie" this morning. If someone told me it was going to be 65 degrees on Christmas I would never have believed them, Merry Christmas!!!

  17. Had both of my coupes out yesterday. Out of town today or I'd have had them out again. Gotta love the weather. I've never been able to run them this late in Michigan before.

Been warm, but rainy here as well. Today was decent, but had family stuff going on and was under the weather . Cold weather doesn't stop me from driving the Penny Pincher , but wet weather does. Once they spread/spray salt on the roads, it will be parked for the season. Hopefully it will be dry on new years day, so I can take my annual new years ride on my motorcycle , and back it up with a Shoebox ride, now that it's finally on the road.

I'm from Michigan and just had to take my boy for a little ride on Christmas day. You can't turn down a two year old who say he want to ride in dads HotRod...For Christmas.

I know Don from Lockport NY took his coupe out for a spin. And I went to pickup a parts stash of 30s Ford speedos and Zephyr parts if that counts.

Still going but i have a feeling it'll be coming to an end soon.
Christmas eve every year we visit both sides of my family for parties. This year it was 52 degrees and dry instead of 5 degrees and snowy, so instead of taking the winter rat i took my truck.

I gotta admit it was killer to have this out xmas eve! Probably a once in a lifetime for us up in this area.
