What color would you say sums up a 60's hot rod?

Early to Mid 60's, prior to the hippy movement blowing up......

Naw, ice blue metallic reminds me more of a mid to later 60's GM product....like a Chevelle or Nova.

Black is timeless, but it doesn't scream 60's to me. The 60's was more in your face with vivid colors.

Late '50's Olds Red

 

This color is 59 but close.....

 

1961, the roadster I fell in love with, a full fender car with a SBC. Helped a friend with the upholstery, red and white rolls and pleats. Car was off-white with a white convertible top.

Still my dream.

Show rods dominate my thinking when talking 60s, so I'd like to see more examples of drivers.
I'm a big fan of the crazy 60s show rod flake multiple colored cars, and have never givin much thought to non 60s show rods.
Educate me please.
