    Well this is my Flathead from when I got it to when it was fitted.... Still a lot to do but it looks OK :D

    Head OFF .... ooo bit of a mess

    Block dipped and crack tested ... turns out it was cracked...

    So here is the replacement

    This is in the bay of one of my current f bodies, I dig the day-two look in my classic muscle cars. 396, custom machined hemi breathers into the top of the valve covers where funky bowties used to reside (cut them down dramatically so they sit level). Machined out the moon air cleaner top ribs to clear a spot for the 396 fender emblem off a chevelle or something. oh the things you can do with a Bridgeport mill and a polishing wheel. Aluminum heads and air gap were cleaned up (lettering removed) tumbled and clear coated, different look. Later model car but ideas that maybe someone can use.
