Hey fellas , I thought some of you would like to see this, My cousin told me his cousin had just passed away, He had an old car in a trailer nobody had seen in thirty years, Here's what we found
Big deal......its just some old plastic Chevrolet. Not worth much.....I could use it for parts if you want to get rid of it.
LOOK AT THAT! I've always liked first gen. Corvette coupes, but there has always been something about the shape of the roadsters with a removeable hard top that I'm quite attracted to.
Mike......do you know how to tell the difference between a Corvette and a Vette? The one with the gold chains in the console is the Vette.
The Bantam is down with a fever so I took mine to Cars and Coffee today. By total coincidence I parked next to several 2000 up Corvettes. Not one of them noticed, I don't think they recognized what it was.
Blowby, they did not notice it because it was modified.......in their eyes you have tarnished one of their cherished artifacts. Looks great!
from the height of the front end, I'd say nothing edit...in the pic of it on the trailer after being washed, you can see sunshine underneath and an engine on the front of the trailer... bet it's a 327
Hell yes, to the blue ... but f#ckin' dynamite to the black ! Bigger pic' Blowby ! (Not bantam sized please) That's a gnarly mutha'.
I was lucky enough to make a deal with the widow although I felt like a creep as he had only been gone a week, its a 327 4 speed with air , its in unbelievable condition for being locked up for thirty plus years, currently the plan is to clean it thoroughly freshen the motor & brakes etc an drive the hell out of it, Thanks for checkin it out
That's a good lookn' '66 roadster you found in there. As a 327 car , could have been either a 300 or 350 horser .
Speaking of banjos, when we were coming home from Pigeon Forge last month we cross the Chattooga river where the movie Deliverance was filmed, and when we looked to the left the old bridge has been torn down. Dumb,dum,dum,dum,dum,dum,dum,dum,dum.... HRP
I think I've seen that photo posted on the 'Vintage Shots' thread and it was a clean photo. Not worn and faded. I could be wrong.
Haha, that's the first thing that caught my eye in the first pic. Now that cat was cool back in the day.
