It was a great show. Thanks for posting the pics falcongeorge.
I herd the same rumour that this maybe the last one Ron does, but I also herd that last year as well. I hope it continues, it is one of the best.

I'll REALLY miss this show if it goes. Its the high point of the year for me.

  4. I heard it might be the last year too but not sure how true the rumour might be. Hopefully if it was the last year they will decide in time for someone else to maybe set something else up for 2016.
I think the Langley show and Ocean Park ended up on the same weekend because Labour day was as late as it could possibly be. Langley is alway the weekend after Labour Day and Ocean park is usually around the 14th so they just ended up on the same weekend.

I missed the swap because of it. I didn't check the schedule, just ASSUMED that it was the following weekend like always. And I was really hoping to snag a cheap Victor Jr or Team G for my truck.:(

I REALLY like that car, always have, especially during the pastel & billet years. Always reminded me of Ron Weeks car. Great chop, perfect wheel choice, and sits right, tough to beat that...

Heres his '40, from the Semiahoo show...

Next time I see him, I gotta ask him more about this one, has a SW cable tach on the dash with the redline set at 7000, got a hunch this one might run.

And heres his '33 PU, from last years OP coverage

hes a hell of a nice guy, soft spoken, but real enthusiastic, very approachable.

Brad, Are you coming out? I wasn't planning on it, but I could use a couple front springs and a clean wishbone.

I'm not, just trying to plead a favor with anyone that is going, to keep an eye out for a 28/9 A rpu rear cab section for me.

If I go ( which will be contingent on my wifes mood when she wakes up sunday morning) and I see one, I will get a number for you.

  18. George, I have no idea how I broke my ankle, as I walked on it for 3 days before giving in to the pain and going to the ER. Turned out there was a previous break I never knew about as well.

How often do I drive it?.........now let me see.......uh........uh......oh yea........Yesterday!!!....and the day before...and the day before...........

I don't think I even mentioned the HAMB or that I was going to post the photo, we were too busy talking about the '70s\'80s around here, and our projects and so on. He has a roadster PU in the works. I really liked talking with him, good guy. next time I run into him, I'll have to ask him more about his '40.
