Who's got the source for the new cloth covered vinyl wire that looks period correct with the braided color markings woven in? Need terminals too that don't have that fugly plastic insulator. I want what can be seen to look nice, not like new, but function like new. This is only going to be on what is seen in the engine area, so I don't need a whole car kit. I have the harness for that. Just need a source for bulk wire and terminals. I've been looking and have not have much success finding what I need regarding terminals

    thanks,

    Andy

  3. Yep, if anybody has what you're looking for, it will be them....

And as to uninsulated terminals, just cut the plastic off. In most cases that's the only difference.

Try here www.brillman.com - they have cloth covered plug wires that are points or electronic friendly. I have them on my Roadster w/Merc Flathead and electronic Mallory Distributor & they work great.

Wired my AV8 entirely with wiring from Rhode Island wiring. Very good quality and service and it wasn't very expensive either.
The zip ties were just temporary to hold it together, I used waxed string to wrap it after I was done. ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1441080163.894672.jpg

Several good venders. I really liked Y & Z in California. For uninsulated ends I stumbled upon Ace Hardware. Great selection.
