I just bought these parts and it looks like they go to a 426 Hemi. I'm looking to build a second blown 392 or 354 Hemi, is this stuff good tradin material? Anyone know the approximate value?

It's worth absolutely nothing. Send it to me and I'll dispose of it properly for you.

mid seventies up on the valve covers. The intake could be older.

One of the intake's is magnesium and the other is aluminum.
Hell, maybe it's time to build a 426!!

Both manifolds are to suit factory style 426 hemi heads (usually known as a 16 bolt manifold). They will also fit some of the early billet heads (Dart forged billet etc). Won't fit any of the later model billet heads as those have 5 bolt (per head) attachment and the port spacing/height etc is usually different. The valve covers will only work with the early Ken Veney heads as they have no provision for attachment other than the screw in spark plug tubes--that is what the notches are for in the top of the plug tubes. It may be possible to drill up through the (plugged) bosses that are cast into the cover and use long studs but that would destroy what look like a nice pair of covers that most likely should be used on a restoration project.

I would much rather trade these parts for a blown 392 build and I am surely not going to go looking for a pair of Veney heads and go deeper into debt.

    Thank you
