A lot of highlights this weekend at the Spectacular but the one that stands out the most is Jeff Myers getting into the Kustom Kemps of America's Hall of Fame. We have been watching Jeff build kustoms for years and it is kool that he was recognized for his hard work. Jeff has a free spirit and not afraid to push the kool meter to new heights. Congrats Jeff!! We are all very Proud of you. When I met Jeff back in the early eighties he was driving around in his chopped short wide. Well deserved. The only thing I have to say is what took so long? The premier car builder in the Mid West and KKOA supporter. FBBF I'm proud to be in the same car club as him. I wish I was there to see him get it.
Huge congratulations from me Jeff! And thanks Mick for starting the thread and the great rundown of some of the cars Jeff has created. I've seen and photographed many of these without knowing their origin.
THANK YOU EVVERYONE!! what a year to get in me and OZ WELCH the same year!! 3 infront of cont club by finkd posted Jan 30, 2013 at 6:30 PM
Jeff, let me add my congrats to the list. Love the stuff you build and am honored to call you a friend. Thought about you Monday as we were coming back from Iowa and passed the Ark City exit sign on I35. Good to see you in Dewey this year. Keep the torch lit!
Always loved his work. To have Jeff build me a custom will be the first thing I do after I win the lottery!
Congratulations Jeff being named to the KKOA Hall of Fame. Knowing Dennis and Mick didn't disqualify you either. I love the Caddy. I first saw it when we were parked next to each other at a motel in Denton, Texas on our way to the Roundup in Austin.
Jeff is deserving of every good thing that comes his way ! He's a good friend, and should be in every Hall of Fame that exists !! I just unearthed an Interview that Jeff & I did back in 2007. In it he tell's the COMPLETE story of how that stunning El Dorado Seville came together...from the beginning: how he acquired it, what the mods were, the problems he had with it, et al ! If you haven't heard this yet...do yourself a favor simply Click-On-This-Direct Link, listen, learn , and, ENJOY ! http://www.legends.thewwbc.net/gpage37.html Again, congratulations Jeff ! You are the B-E-S-T !!! BTW: Look closely at the pix on Jeff's Interview Page and you'll see the Seville with Steve Stanford & myself Crusin' in it !!!! Jonnie www.legends.thewwbc.net
