Hot Rods 31 A pickup using tudor doors

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by ABONES, Aug 8, 2015.

  1. Any body build a 30-31 Model A pickup cab using tudor doors. Doors are only a little over an inch longer. I realize the subrails and roof panels over the doors would need to be extended. Pics?

You got something else happening if the doors don't fit. 30 31 tudor doors are identical to 30 31 pick up doors. Do you actually have a pick up cab or is it a cut down sedan??

  3. Pickup and coupe are the same. Tudor doors are longer. I am just wondering if any body has used tudor doors and wondering what the cab would look like using the longer doors.

As flatford 39 says, Tudor and Pickup are same doors. Coupe and Sedan are the short ones. Easiest way to extend cab is add a bit in original back near door pillars. Hope this helps.

Just to clarify, when I said Sedan I meant 4 door Sedan, wood frame doors.

  6. My bad. I was thinking coupe and pickup were the same and tudor doors were longer. Sorry stupid question.
