Picked up this beaut from a customer of mine about 2 months ago. I've been trying to buy it from him for almost 4 years and he finally caved!
I bought it untouched and unrestored........well almost. The story goes a little like this, the guy who owned it before my customer was sitting in his garage with some buddies drinking beers and they'll decided that the car needed to be "chopped". So they got as far as cutting the "b" pillars and the project came to a halt. Luckily they kept the "b" pillars. Aside from that, the car seemed pretty solid. Changed out the front suspension to a jamco deluxe ultra cruise kit 4" drop, front and rear sway bars, and jamco power brake conversion, rear 4" drop jamco leafs. Here she is the first day I took ownership ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1437785108.698888.jpg ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1437785133.038311.jpg ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1437785174.707801.jpg ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1437785229.043615.jpg

The plan so far is to start with having the body media blasted, French the headlights, door handles, gas door, and trunk. And weld the "b" pillars back in

Exterior is going to be black, although the soon to be wife wants it to be "sparkly black".
As for the interior I'm thinking white a black, keep it classy

  7. Sure hope your sand blaster is better than the one my painter chose for my 57 Hard Top. He changed my 6 month project (just body work and paint) to what now has been 4 years and I still don't have a complete paint job finished. A good sand blaster is Priceless but there are way more of them out there that should be Shot. Best of luck to ya.
