Love this thread.
While I've never been a fan of gals photographed with Hot Rods (they block my view), I'm impressed with the classyness of the ones shown here.
Its taste full and not obtrusive.

Here's an odd one. The text looks like ad agency copy but the photo looks like a freelancer's shot. It's a beautiful car but it has a real license plate with a sketchy-looking frame and the tires are dirty. It sure is a beautiful car, though.

I wasn't keen on the late Tex Smith's XR-6 when it was built (I was ten years old) nor has it grown on me since but I do admire the technical skill in building it and his use of a hopped-up Slant 6 (see model kit of the stock engine in the post above).

 

Thanks so much to rbantinque and others for great pictures and a really great job of sharing them with us. It is really cool to be able to often read the dang details in the stories.
