Well, I searched and it didn't appear that anyone had started a Billetproof Michigan thread yet this year. So here we go... Who's going and what are you driving? Also, who is racing and will be pitting on the other side of the track? I'm planning on coming down in the Caddyhauler.
Kind of seems his event has fallen off the radar a bit in Detroit...I'm going to see the Gassers, funny cars, and the manual transmission guys...the rest is gravy... The move, the weather, etc, etc, has not been kind to this event...maybe the weather will co-operate and it will have a good turnout
I agree @loveoftiki. I like this location much better than the last because of the racing. Hopefully the weather cooperates, people show up and some old wounds heal. After all, there aren't a whole lot of traditional shows in Michigan.

Had a great time at the show. Saw a bunch of old friends and did a small amount of striping. Looking forward to seeing the pics as I was alone and couldn't really walk around too much. If there was any down side it was that I was set up right next to the starting line and the noise of the burnouts and the clouds of rubber smoke made conversation a bit difficult.Also the rains had created a nice mud puddle on the entry road into the show.Almost got stuck in the middle but powered through.Felt sorry for the non-fendered guys. Coming into the show over the bridge on US23 it looked like they had finally re-surfaced Plank Road. YEAH! About a half mile of it! In all fairness it looked like they had made an attempt to fill some of the really bad spots but it is still a bone jarring ride all the way to the track. Still had a great time and will be back next year.
