Hot Rods Numbers on a "33 Chevy

I'm looking at a '33 Chevy...has title...wondering where to look for VIN numbers. The car is about 90 miles from me (out of state) and the gentleman doesn't know where to look either...thanks dudley

 

Plate on right hand seat frame, or on floor or sill near right hand seat.

Many states used the engine number to title cars back then.

 

vin # on the early chevs were the engine #.
