Technical Need shocks front rear for 59 chevy nomad

Where I can buy front and rear shocks for my 59 chevy nomad?
I can find only shocks for the front - but not for the rear.

You should be able to get them from your local parts store anywhere. Any good name brand like Monroe, Gabriel, Koni, etc.

Rockauto has KYB front or rear for under $25 bucks apiece.

LOL I started to pot just go to autozone, then I noticed that @Daddyohs is in Austria, so I am guessing that the zone is completely out of the question although I was offered a job by them managing an autozone on Sao Paulo. If it had been in Argentina I would have been all over it but my Portuguese just isn't that good.

I think Rockauto is a good place to start. Daddyohs if you find some and they don't want to ship to you have them ship to me I'll get 'em to ya.

 

Daddyoh, do you know the Delco part # for the shocks?

 

Try Delco # 520-180 rear or Delco Advantage # 520350 front shocks,

same as KYB #343130 rear #343128 front.

These shocks were used on a many different GM and AMC cars from 1958 to 1996 including El Camino 1959 - 1967.

The OP should be able to get his local parts store to cross reference these numbers to a Bilstein or other European brand of shocks.

 

Its easy to find a full set of shocks for 1959 el camino ... so this for the el camino works also for the nomad?

I just bought a pair of shocks. If you have custom suspension you can goto monroeshocks.com and pick your shocks by length and mounting type.
There's a chart that's pretty handy.
So if your lowered or raised you can find what fits not just the stock replacement.
