Art Himsel. I remember when he built that car. I think it's posted a few pages back with it's current toned down paint job.

I have a cabin in the hills that is often only 4x4 accessible, and being a hot rodder as well I have a bit of a soft spot for this sort of thing. I know it's not a 'traditional' hot rod and turns many people off but I have to admit I was interested when I saw it (it was for sale). I took a brief look under it, had the stock frame and seemed to be nicely built. I am definitely not a monster truck guy though, and at that height it'd be too dangerous for my needs.

Actually, I am with you in that with some changes it could be pretty decent for a "mini" Suburban. Sure it's not trad, but I like the idea of an early SUV! LOL!

Now that is simply a very nice clean looking Delray, I like that. What is that painted on the quarter panel, dice?

My nephew found this last week and had to have it. Last lic tag was 1987. And it looks as it hasn't been cleaned since 1987.

It looks pretty solid, nice one to start with. Damn nice Nomad, the 56 is my favorite year for Nomads, since Chevy didn't build them like they should have in 58.

Hopefully Tom Davison won't mind my sharing this photo of his on here, I saw it on his coverage from LSRU and thought it should be shared, since it has an Impala in the background. ;)

That is the first Biscayne I have ever seen that someone put a continental kit on, definitely not a car you will see every day. Kind of different to see Biscayne with all of the dress items hung on it.

I was thinking that was the first 58 that I ever saw with a visor on it. Odd looking I'd say

True, it doesn't seem to fit the car very well, does it?
