I got to visit this private collection of cars in New Orleans yesterday. There's approximately 100 cars, all are drivers and have full gas tanks so they can be taken out at any time the owner (or mechanics) think they need to be driven. This was one of my favorites so I looked thru the HAMB to see if it had been mentioned before...it had: http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=144235&highlight=300+kruse

Now we know who bought it.

Wow, that is a nice collection. I like the green pontiac. Looks like it has a 2006 charger grill (im sure it isn't). The red volvo is cool also.

Just happened to run across this old thread and thought I would post that another rare and one of car has been added to Henry Shanes collection. It is the 1954 Buick Landau Concept car, which made it's rounds through the '54 Motoramas. While not a hot rod by any stretch I think it might be interesting to many of you.
I just did a tribute and farewell thread to it as it departs from my friend and current owner, Bob Coker heading to Cars of Yesteryears > http://www.1954buick.com/showthread...ll-to-the-1954-Buick-Landau?p=42022#post42022
Moderators, I hope I am not crossing any lines here, I just happen to love '54 Buick's and in particular this Landau. If I have please don't hesitate to treat as you deem fit.
