Oh, well... maybe that's better than nothing. Maybe you can click on them or somehow enlarge them. Good stuff. Thx tb33...
There seems to be a lot more stuff in the pictures than what was on the auction site. I remember seeing a lot of '33-4 Vicky bodies on another thread. A lot of stuff, some seemed reasonable, but might be a lot rougher than the pictures show.
I never looked at the online info but I saw more stuff on the field yesterday than is reported in the results posted above: I saw dozens of Stromberg 97 carbs, lots of floor shifters, rear axles, dropped axles, headlights, backing plates, lots of dashes, hoods & side panels, and on and on. See my pics above. I didn't return for the auction today. So ... Maybe all sales are not yet posted online- ???
yep Scotty.....the quick changes as well weren't on Proxie.....good prices on some stuff - like the Nomads...
Hard to believe some of those prices ?!.. Maybe no bidders went there after seeing the stupid prices that GM dealership brought in Nebraska last year? Even blower intakes that got no bids? Crazy
They used a somewhat unconvential bidding procedure. My friend wanted a 1933 Ford hood. The auctioneer had all of the hoods together and said bidding will be for one hood. High bid gets his choice of hood. My friend was high bid and took the best one as you might expect. Auctioneer then called for high bid on remaining hoods. That high bid took the best of the remaining hoods. Of course, it was a good bit less that the first high bid. And so it went. On prices: the buyer of one of the 34 coupes reportedly said he would be taking it to Hershey and would make $10,000 on it. Nobody disputed that claim.
I am Really bummed - would have depleted the 401K account if I had known about this one ahead of time.
