Last week we had a 10 car 'nostalgia' funny car show here in Adelaide. To me they were just awesome fuel coupes- I don't get modern corporate drag racing. Anyway, y'all have no idea what this meant to us nitro junkies in Adelaide. Rooman will get it. I did these 2 quickie sketches in a nitro- hazed pit area. The big painting is from the 2 car match race a few years ago. I'd hazard a guess it was the first & only time an easel has graced the 'stands in Adelaide

a 1958 chevrolet Impala project in Switzerland... The boss's car of the crazy Cruiser to Geneva... soon finished (flash and photoshop CS6).

A gift for 1 year for the little boy to my friend ... just a little paint ... fun to do ... and a little boy happy


and Work in progress... a canvas for the 40'birthday for my best friend.... surprise for him

another awesome F.A.S., 2nd chance knocked it outta the park for the suitcase we are restoring for Rob Lee's Dad's new hot rod model A. It was his Dad's so it is a family treasure.

 

...first off, I'd like everyone to say a prayer for the northern Illinois tornado victims , one who lost her life, and many who were injured or lost their homes....the tornado started in Lee county and grew to huge proportions as it traveled northeast thru 5 counties. Village of Fairdale (200 pop.)every house/building damaged or totaled.. very sad....we were spared here.
