Please forgive me, I take pretty damn good photos with my wife's Nikon, but with my iPhone, well... the location (an open parking lot), the time (late afternoon) and the weather (full sun!) meant that I had about 20 minutes when the sun dipped below the horizon in which to take all my photos before it got too dark. So here you go. Sorry they're so Ford-centric, but the vast majority of the rods and customs at this show were FoMoCo. If you wanted muscle cars, there were plenty of Bowties to be seen. Enjoy. ... and of course I have to throw one of my own ride in there for good measure.
Wow did you only take pics of the traditional cars? Or was that all that was there? Really nice set of cars for sure.
There were many high dollar 'Foose-esque' (for lack of a better term) street rods, but quite frankly I don't care for the high-tech, billet-slathered, CAD-designed trailer queens. I'll add a few pix in next month if there is an interest, though. Muscle cars as well.
Well, it's not really a bluff, but 'Rods on the Hillock' just didn't have the same ring to it... and thanks.
It's a great event-- 500 cars Friday-- at least until August when it gets hot; nothing like asphalt on a 105 degree afternoon...
Looks like a great turnout. I'm severely irritated that I missed this, especially since there was NOTHING else to do last Friday night but I was told that the first show of the year wasn't until May. You know what really sucks? The guy that told me that has a car pictured in the show coverage.
