We all need to take a break from the shop to spend a little time with our friends & family.

Agreed, and often the work is better and more rewarding after a break.

  3. I suspect the frantic pace you set for yourself in the beginning my have contributed to the hitting the wall. HRP

That damned wall is always just around the next turn on us all. Step back and take a look for a way to the better side of the damned thing. Roger

With the speed you set out with, I think you knocked true that wall. go and put some ice on it!
    Nothing but respect from me.
It's great to know that you are alive, and I hope you are well.
I like you build, and daydream about "copying" some of your work.
    I really like it!

  6. I thought this project started long before the thread did. Not sure I remember how I reached that conclusion but I did.

One of his early posts did make it sound like the build was underway, just didn't give much of a clue on how long .

This is such an innovative thread, we hope that all is well and progress will continue in due course. We all realise that car building however enjoyable is a hobby for most of us out here, and garage time can be limited by other factors such as the need to make a living and family duties etc. Don't get disheartened the end result will undoubtedly be worthwhile.

Carry on with the good work.

What's the latest Gent, any updates?

  21. If you hit his links ... he has a new gallery opening and some artistic endeavors going. Maybe you can bump into him and buy him a pint, and a shot of Old Grouse for us. He's probably laying out his roadster frame and prepping for an upcoming 5 window build anyway. Cheers 'Gent.
