    Now one tiny omission..... pages 20-21 are missing from the scan of the 1968 rulebook.

    (I just learned of this contribution yesterday on another HAMB thread)

    THAT is an AWESOME contribution to the history of our hobby and indeed our nation itself!!!
    And, it answered the question:
    1966 is the ONE & ONLY year in which you could run "any cam any intake" in a class other than Super Stock (Super Stock in the early years was called S/S).
    1966 also looks like the 1st year that you could run "any intake" in ANY stock (or S/S) class.
    This was clearly the transition to the SS/A to SS/E classes of 1967.
    My thanks on behalf of myself but many others as well for all that scanning work.
