Forgot to ask, who made the SP Top filters?

I am not Bob...he built the car. I am just the one lucky enough to get to drive it.

Coils are between firewall and dash.

Tony over at Ross Racing Engines was responsible for the amazing filters. The one downside of SP Tops on a road car is total lack of filtration. I think he came up with a nice solution...

Thank for the reply...I know your not Bob...he is way too busy to be on here. Tony did a nice job on those. I may run the SPs on my flathead but as you say filtration is an issue. I saw the car before the Holidays and am very impressed at how fast it has come together. Good luck in Detroit.....

Thanks, believe it or not Bob built another side by side with this one. Very different style, blown Y block (also built by Tony). Both will debut in Detroit next week.

Next photo will be the finished car at the show...

  21. Is the radiator leaning forward and is the grill shell higher than the cowl.

Yes, looking at the photo above I can se why you think that. No, grill isn't leaning and is right height. Bad perspective on the photo...

Very nice! I'll be looking for this in Austin..

  27. The color is simply outstanding, of course love the engine choice. One of the best Model A builds I've seen in a long time.

Thanks all. I will try to take better photos today. Unfortunately I am on the road for a week or so now and wont be back home (where the cable that allows me to hook my good camera to my PC resides) and so I am relying on phone/tablet cameras for now. Gonna be a busy couple of days, the reception to the car so far has been amazing.

Glad we worked the witteks into the mix, another little detail...
