Just Picked these up for my collection. I have over 600 kits from all eras. Mostly Hot Rod, Custom and Drag. 65 bucks for everything here. At an Estate Sale in Colorado.
Here are some of mine from the 60s. The 59 Ford, 59 Chevy, 60 Ford pickup, 60 El Camino, and the Valiant were all builds from my high school years.
l've been showing my wife this thread. I wanted her to know I'm not the only one that collects and has so many toys. In fact I was afraid someone had gotten into my place because I have pretty much the same as a lot of you have. I've got a bedroom that you can barely walk in. I know "it's not so if there are no pictures". Give me time. This past Monday, another Hamber sent me a photo via his cell phone of a glass display case that he saw while at the Habitat Restore place. I immediately called them and purchased all 3 units that they had. Haven't picked up yet because of weather, put they are paid for. For $450 I got three units. They are 7 feet tall, 4 feet wide, and 17 inches deep. Glass sides and doors. mirrored back wall and lights at the top. Each one has 10 glass shelves. One unit is missing one of the sliding front doors, but they are giving me some extra doors. I even got the keys for the locks on the doors. I will be putting them in my garage and it won't take long to fill them with all that I have. I owe my Hamber friend lunch and then some for watching out for me.
