I thought I would share some progress pics of Montana32's pickup build. Steve has been handling most of everything on the build, but I built the frame and have been assisting him as needed. Next step will be the chop which will be around the 3" mark. Box will be shortened a few inches. Will post more progress soon. Enjoy the pics. Brandon
Montana32 is going with a tradition style, but strength and driveability is the goal, so concessions will be made with some of the parts used on the build. The firewall was to nice to cut up so I gave steve a roached one to fix for the engine recess.
Another nailed head deuce! Thats a great start, can't wait to see more pictures. I especially like the 4-2 intake.
Well since you already have the table set up for a 32 frame, how about doing one for me? I'm a couple hours south of you.
Steve has a 425 with a 4 speed in his 32 Tudor as well. I take some pics of that when I'm over at his shop. The plan is to chop the top next, and dive into the clutch linkage and rear suspension. The pedals will be very similar to my setup in my old fordor. Hopefully I will have an update soon.
Finally starting to get back on Steve's project. I've been struggling to find the time to chop the cab a few inches, but luckily was able to sneak out into the garage this week and get the axe out. Its just tacked together currently. Its a good solid cab and doors, but it was used and abused in a few places like your typical Montana farm truck. We took out 3 inches and am really diggin it. I will post a few more pics as i go. The cab is sitting on my extra frame for the chop and should hopefully be back on Steve's frame next week to check stance and how it all looks.
