My mercury -39 project

Really nice car, seen you cruise in it last summer when i was in m-stad! (Jag kommer från mariestad men utflyttad)

 

When you welded the fenders on, what kind of preparations were made?
Cleaned them of all paint?
Did you use the kind of primer that can be welded over; like Eastwood's or similar?

BTW, luv that car...

Just took of the paint before welding it, then I paint all with epoxy,
which I think is best to have in the bottom against rust and its posible to have bondo on it

 

Really like what you've done with the Merc---pure art.
