Update photos, AC plumbing is in, starting to make some progress on the floor and the carb's have been flipped 180 degrees to make room for the new powergen.
Making progress the front shock towers are in and the rear shocks finally came in. The 14: shocks were too short so replaced with 16". You may have also noticed the Denso racing alternator has been replaced with a Powermaster PowerGen too.
The floor is nearly finished too. You can see the cutout for the shifter and the emergency brake. The roof supports have been added to smooth out the roof from the extension.
Hey folks I know it's been awhile but the 34 is moving right along. Bed has been primed, cab is almost ready. Ironing out a few items but here is a video of the current status.
The 34 grille shell need a trim piece so one was milled from steel, bent in to shape and welded then shipped to Jon Wrights to be chromed. Opted for the show quality finish, $$$ Ouch! Anyway, can't wait to get it back to see it.
Here are some interior shots. The Julianos '39 banjo steering wheel is a piece of jewelry. I've got a 27 roadster and it too will get this steering wheel, love this thing! Got some over head storage, mirror is installed too. Don't know if you noticed but the Vintage Air controls are in the glovebox.
Hey Folks It's time! Finally blowing it apart to send it out to paint, powder coating and the chrome shop. It's been a while since I've seen the chassis, "10 lbs of crap in a 5 lb bag?
Well, its all the way apart now, just some finish welding and clean up and its off to powder coat. The exhaust is already out getting ceramic coating.
Wow, the trim ring ring came back from Jon Wrights chrome shop and it looks great plus the grille have been filled and primed.
Wow!! That is looking very good!! Glad to see the progress, been following this from the start. Keep up the good work. Len
