Your car is beautiful. Funny how you get bit by the 34 bug and it lasts a lifetime. you mentioned the Bonnie and Clyde car, and we kids were small, there was a two semi-trailer caravan parked at the Value-Village in Paducah KY. way back in the 60s. One of them held Hitler's limo and the other held the Bonnie and Clyde death car. I remember my Dad giving us kids each 2 qtrs. and you could tour them for a donation. I was about the age of you on the running board pic, and already loved the B & C story, so I went on that trailer and gave my 50c to the guy. I thought the lines of the car were so cool, lots of bullet holes, of course, but the car was like new at the time, paint and chrome wise. I cant see any 34 Ford without remembering that day, Keep up the good work.

Pardon my French - damn nice car - a true labor of love and dedication - been watching this one too - I've got one too but alas it has Matchbox stamped on the bottom. Keep up the good work.

    Oh yea, drool time again

  9. Yeah, they look good but I was denied entrance to a 'Traditional Hot Rod' (pre-65 style) show because of also having A/R TT2 wheels on my similar coupe. Cars with box-new A/R 'TTO' or 'Salt-Flat' wheels were not questioned. Splitting-hairs, if you're into that.

Upholstry shop 003.JPG Early shot of not yet completed trunk.. This is a view of the false panel that can be removed to expose more storage and the battery compartment. Chrome T-handles are to hold the panel. No Carpet yet and some clean up to do.

Your car is outstanding, everything about it is well thought out and executed. Beautiful color choice on the interior also, I wouldn't change a thing.

So kind of you to say... Appreciate that i.rant. Just trying to maintain the look that Henry would appreciate. (although he would scoff at the driveline but most of that is hidden.

    Hi 34dlx:
Thanks for the color update. It is a nice combo and the style of pleating and finishing fits your build beautifully. TEB

I can not wait till you get the interior done. I am installing brown interior in my Dark Blue Plymouth. My color is more like your lighter picture. I can see the true color of your interior in the armrest picture. You are doing a great job on the car and I love how it is coming together. I hope someday mine will be finished. Thank you for the inspiration.
