All of he rotten wood was removed and replaced with steel. In both my brown one and this one. Mine was on a homemade frame. This one is on an altered original pontiac frame.

Yup it's coming along. It'll look similar to the bottom pic when im done. This will help with the rest of the build.

Thanks Jim! Hope you are doing well

Addressed some more issues today. Snowballed and ended up building a new cowl side

  19. toreadorxlt, you realize that other than the rear window opening and visor, you're not gonna have any real 1930 Pontiac left if you keep going! Just joking, you've saved a car that normally wouldn't have been, and as another early Pontiac lover, I truly appreciate it!

  22. Looks great man, your metal work is really awesome!

I've got a question, how did you get that bead on the top side of that cowl patch (Post #139)?

Thanks guys, the cowl band was put in with my homemade Pullmax style machine. The belt lines were mostly don't with a bead roller and tuned with my planishing hammer.

  25. Thanks for the answer. Your homemade tools look very nice! Do you have any pics of your homemade english wheel? I just got done building one with a 30 inch throat using the Joe Andrews (Hoosier Profile) wheel kit.

Got it up in the air a little. Nitpicking some things and starting to jam out the door opening. Party time.
