Hey all! I was directed to this site by Jersey Joe 67 as he knows that I love any and all classic cars. I don't have a real old car but I do own a 1969 El Camino that is a work in progress...meaning in pieces in the garage Looking forward to checking out all the rides on here and gaining information on my recent interest in vintage hot rods anywhere from the 20's thru the 50's. Here is a pic of the El Cam before the tear down.
Welcome aboard NJCHICK, you'll be addicted before you know it! Nice profile pic btw, you'll probably crash the site with friend requests now, lol. Such a bad ass El Camino!!!
Usually this site is restricted to grumpy old men who are very stubborn about the cars talked about on here.I myself am a grumpy old man who is always happy to see a young lady interested in old cars.Welcome to the HAMB, and fasten your seatbelt. Mike from Mass. picture isn't recent(unfortunately)My '65 El Camino
Thanks Joe, I don't think there's any fear of me crashing the site lol! Thank you Mike! Grumpy old men are cool, so no worries. Love the '65! Do you still have it or no?
Welcome to the Hamb. I am not a Grumpy Old man yet, but its nice to see some Female Gear heads on here. You will love the site !
Welcome from nearby Maryland. Pencil in the Race of Gentlemen in South Jersey later this year as a must-attend event.
That El Camino looks preety sweet; what are you doing to it? and how about a little info. ( engine, tranny??) Looks all stock- and an SS- it's a beauty!
Welcome NJ Chick. Race of gentlemen is the best show on the planet and a must see if you like old hot rods. Good luck on your El Camino
Thank you all! When I bought it, it was an automatic with a 454 with a bad knock which blew up soon after lol! So the plan is to replace it with a 396 like it came with from the factory with a manual 5 speed trans conversion. Although, that could always change....
Well I am an old man sorta..Sorta grumpy too. Your avatar is my third favorite..Welcome, hope you enjoy the conversations here..
