This top's the Hartung auction of a few years ago by far, especially for the Hot Rod community!
With the online bidding available, ALOT of this stuff will be leaving the country.......

  4. From the aerial view of his property you can see the enormous volume of parts stacked and hoarded there. Scotty, I can see why you would be worn out from moving parts. Just think of all the cars and parts that would have been scrapped if not for Bob saving all this stuff.

Man, there is some unreal stuff here. No time to be a broke Okie. Haha.

  10. it's pretty solid too. it's got a crazy looking coil spring rear suspension, looks like a modified chevelle set up.

Yes. Very interesting read at the "OldCarWeekly" link. What a time to be living in Florida, during the beginning of the space race. Those guys were rock stars !!!

  16. You are killing us. There is so much stuff there that I would go nuts at the auction trying to decide what to bid on. It looks overwhelming.

  17. there's so much more!

Most all were stored inside and were drug out of north Georgia, Tennessee and Alabama in the late 70's early 80's. Some are rust-free. The copper Nomad was drug out of the Daytona Beach impound yard in '82. It was a parts car back then.
I drove it to its resting spot in '83 when I was 15. Thats what happened to it since.

Yes, there will be online bidding. Most of the early ford stuff is inventoried. Vanderbrink is beginning to post auction pics. Tri-five stuff wont be inventoried till the third week of February.
