Build up on channeling a 29 sedan?

    Anybody have a good build on channeling a 29 sedan? Just bought my first sedan already chopped 5in now it's time to channel it. Lookin for as many pics or help I can get, thanks

    I would do a mock up of your seating in relation to how much you want to channel it. Unless you are very short or don't mind driving in the lay down position I would not channel with that much chop.

    You need to z the frame 4 or 5 in. in front too get head room if not you will be sorry .
     

  5. There are several ways to do a Channel job. Here is a shot of work in progress. It's all done in 16 gauge. I dropped it 4" with 1/2" lift in cross members so a total of 4-1/2" in the vertical flange. My floor is totally flat with a hump over the trans.
