$2.09 the cheapest around me. Sure is nice to fill up for around $40. Going to our house in Florida in a few days where there's stations selling real gas (no ethanol) I wonder what that stuff is going for?

  4. 1.84 in Amarillo, only place in town selling no-ethanol...2.18

$2.85 Pittsburgh. The most expensive in the country. Nobody seems to care to find out why.
The local stations are colluding to keep pries high.

eg. 1 litre = .264 US gallons; 2 US gallons = 7.57 litres; roughly $AUD1.30 per litre just under $5 gallon down here.

$AUD1 = $USD0.81. We definitely pay through the nose, England and Europe are more than us!

  20. Christmas Day price is 1.86 for 85 octane here in Colorado Springs. Ft. Collins had it for 1.68 yesterday. I never thought I'd see it go below 2.oo a gallon again in my lifetime.

Internet guru's says we will go into a recession if gas prices stay this low. So more disposable income from lower gas prices is bad for the economy. Hmmmmmmmm

Last night I paid $1.77/Gallon at the Road Ranger in Dubuque, IA. Makes filling a 36 gallon tank significantly less painful.

Here in the Clearwater area on the west coast of Florida the lowest price I have seen so far is $2.14

I do believe that $1.99 is just around the next corner.

It's funny how this is such a wonderful Christmas gift to so many people and yet for others such as the companies who make electric cars this is a wake up call for the types of cars and trucks the consumer really want.

On the flip side if gas prices went back up north of $4.00 dollars the same consumers would want more electric cars and less gas guzzlers.

For countries whose economy depends heavily on the sale of oil this is killing their economy.

I wonder what this means for the Keystone Pipeline?
I could never quite figure out how they used Eminent Domain laws to take someone's land for this pipeline.

The pipeline is owned by a private Canadian company who will ship their oil to refiners who will then sell the oil to who ever is the highest bidder.

Retailers and people who sell large RV's are rejoicing!!!
