do you use pitch as a cover and hydrofluoric acid?
how many layers of etching do you have to do for something so intricate?
    simply amazing!

Awesome! Absolutely beautiful. That could cause an accident if used in a street car, I know I would be totally distracted.:)

    Stunning, absolutley stunning.
I think I'll have you do my headstone in a few years that way I can enjoy it for awhile before its use is really needed.;)

  11. Incredible. You need to move to Topeka, quite a few car clubs around here that usually have etched glass.

Thanks all... your opinion is highly appreciated.

No acid, averything is done my my achin' fingers, and a dremel with diamond bits. This one took 58 hours, so I'd charge about 1k for a job like this normally. This was done for a buddy of mine, no charge 'cause we swap engine work etc.... that's how I like to do things.

I'm developing a technique that will cut my time in half soon, so prices will drop and I can get twice as much done in half the time... stay tuned ;)

Everything on my site was done per-order... I don't have much time to do stuff on my own just for sale... everything is done from photos (or swimsuit calendars, Playboys, old photographs, etc). You send me a photo, I can etch it for ya... anytime.

Thanks again for the good publicity... the HAMB is gonna get an auction peice here soon, Ryan and the board have done so much for me, it's only right... so look for a sticky in about a month :D

Practicing for 13 years now... I'm gainin on it! thanks ;)

Oh... lots more people every day are getting their "tombstones" in their 40s and 50s... just so they can get what they want, and leave the kids out of it. It's kinda nice to produce something so "final" for people who are still alive.

    It's not a bad idea
