Im looking for a good parts vendor or people who have a good source for Pontiac bonneville parts. I have searched a little and have not had much luck. The car has a 389 tri power. Looking to see if moldings and if the stock interior can be replicated. Any help from is greatly appreciated. It's a 59 2 door hardtop

    Try these sources:
    http://performanceyears.com/index.html
    http://www.amesperf.com/
    http://www.pontiacparts.net/
All three sell parts for full size Pontiacs

For interior trim, you used to be able to get full interior sets from Harry Samuel in Michigan but he finally retired. The other choice is SMS in Oregon - you can get door panels, and they sell seat material but you have to buy the vinyl or cloth by the yard and get it sewn up by a local upholstery shop: http://www.smsautofabrics.com/

For carpet, try ACC carpets: http://www.accmats.com/

You may also want to join the Pontiac-Oakland Club International: https://secure.poci.org/ They have a monthly magazine with a classified section that can be useful.

There's also the Full Size Pontiac club, they have some classifieds and links to resources: http://www.fullsizepontiacs.com/

Thank you Stuart. Crazy fast help! I will look into all these sources. The car is going to be my moms. I just want to see if it's a possibility with the availability of what's out there. The car is really cool but obviously needs some things. Any help is welcome

Tell us more about what the car needs...pictures are always good. :)

If you don't have a set already, factory shop manuals are a big help. You can find them at swap meets or from several online vendors; you can also get them on CD-ROM these days.

One other good source for information is http://www.pontiacsafari.com/ He concentrates on 1955-1957 Safaris, but also has a lot of good links. There's also some parts catalog information for 1959 cars.

It's a restoration. It's all there just needs gone through. Alot of the chrome moldings are rough and need replaced. Will need side windows, rubber, etc. Will need floor pans and I have that covered. Body panels are all ok or salvageable I believe. I always sweat the small stuff on cars that have a lot of detail moldings and trim. The availability I guess.
