Happy New Year to all!!!!! does anyone know what wheels were used on the trailer ford or chevy or ? the one I am restoring has 5 on 4 1/2 bolt pattern I need wheels and tag for trailer any help would be appreciated. Thanks Rob [email protected]
I think they used Dodge Plymouth type Budd mfg artillery wheels 16" with 5 on 4-1/2" bolt pattern and Mullins script hubcaps. The hubcaps were held on by clips.
there was a good "coffee table" book put together a few years ago about 2008 - a good book store should be able to help....
Those caps are crazy expensive! I found one at a EFV8 swap meet and thought I'd buy it just to have it. Boy, was I in for a shock!!
Mullins trailers were available from the factory with any wheel the buyer wished to have so it would match the vehicle,(and only need one spare). If not ordered many came with a mopar pattern and artillary styled wheel, usually 17" diameter. The above mentioned book is a must have if you want to know about these trailers. You can also join the mullins club for more info and contacts.
